About Kosha Counselling
According to the Upanishads, Koshas are layers or sheaths of awareness. Koshas can include awareness of your physical body, thoughts and feelings. As individuals work through these sheaths, the intention is to uncover a deeper sense of self and a stronger sense of connection to self and others.

Recognizing and understanding we are all intertwined within our minds and bodies (not to mention societal, cultural and personal ties), Kosha Counselling focuses on providing a space to recognize the role of these layers and provides an opportunity to explore what lies beneath safely.
We appreciate that there may be challenges in embracing the inside and outside forces and that external and internal pressures can begin to interfere with self-acceptance and contentment. Working from anti-oppressive, inclusive, somatic and non-violent lenses, Kosha Counselling focuses on helping you sort through challenges (no matter how big or small) with the intention of reconnecting you to you.

Developing a relationship with your therapist is one of the most essential pieces of counselling. In turn, we recommend you book a complimentary 15-minute session to see if you feel it is a good fit. (The complimentary session is unnecessary but allows you to get to know your therapist beforehand if you like.)
